Boost Your Landing Page – Squeeze Page Conversions

Do your landing pages bring you the best conversions you can possibly get?

There are a few key elements you need to have on your landing page to make it convert as successfully as it possibly can. Once you have included these elements in your landing page your conversion rate will take a boost.

Your landing page must have high quality copy, with persuasive trigger words in it.

Words like “because” and “free” are natural trigger words that people are drawn to. The “because” justifies a reason that you create for them for taking an action. The “free” allows them to feel they have gained something at no risk. Point out a satisfaction guarantee that they will get with your offer and a promise that you will not give away their contact information to anyone else. This makes them feel safe to take you up on your offer.

Make sure your page is not too salesy.

You need to make them feel your offer has value and will solve a problem they have without being pushy. Relate to their problem… give them the benefits to taking you up on your offer. Add scarcity to your offer… this makes them feel that they’d better get it now or they will miss out on the opportunity to get it later. Have a clear cut call to action… make sure they understand exactly what their next step is supposed to be. You don’t want your visitors to be wondering about anything.

A video squeeze page can sometimes be far more effective than having any text on your squeeze page. Video can be added to your landing page at no cost to you. Use all the free resources that are available and add a video squeeze form. Many visitors are far more attracted to video than they are to what seems like endless amounts of reading.
